FOR THE MOTIVATION OF THE CANDIDATE FOSTER FAMILIES

More and more people show interest for the foster families' life and the perspectives which they offer to fostered children. Both romantic attitudes in perception of this new (but not unknown in the past) method of fostering children and skepticism based on the disbelief in the possibilities and motives of foster families dominate. The present survey is devoted to the candidate foster parents' motivation: what are the factors that influence their choices. The survey results will help the reader to give himself an answer to the question, whether foster parents are people who bring up children for money.
