RISK BEHAVIOUR PREVENTION DEINSTITUALIZATION OF CHILD CARE EDUCATION AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

PROJECT: „Vaccination program against Hepatitis B, intended for adults of Roma background with risky behavior, related to drugs and/or sexual exploitation”. Funding: Municipality of Varna

OBJECTIVES

To increase the level of awareness of high-risk groups of young people about the possibilities for contamination with blood and sexually transmitted infections. To vaccinate young people for whom there is a high risk for contamination with Hepatitis B.

TARGET GROUPS

The program envisages multi-component work among high-risk groups for prevention of Hepatitis B infection. The target groups are adult people of Roma origin, with a history of problematic use of drugs (injection of drugs and/or continuous use of opiates, amphetamines and cocaine) and/or high-risk sexual behavior (for example, provision of paid sexual services of hetero and homosexual type).
